Dream Conference Panel

I can’t even fathom how magical it would be to receive the opportunity to interview my favorite authors and characters from their books. My dream panel would be split into two sections based on my favorite genres – contemporary and fantasy – and many thanks to Eventbrite for giving me this lovely idea.

Contemporary

Location: Stanwich, Connecticut from Since You’ve Been Gone

Authors: Sarah Dessen, Jenny Han, Morgan Matson, Jennifer Niven and Kasie West

Characters: Jeremiah Fisher from The Summer I Turned Pretty series, Theodore Finch’s parents from All the Bright Places

Questions/Comments:

Ms. Dessen, Ms. Matson, and Ms. West – I am so terribly fond of all your books and can’t wait to read the releases you have in store for us fans in 2017!

The Finches – Why did you fail to offer your son the support he desperately needed?

Jeremiah – Are family reunions awkward for you? How are you?

Fantasy

Location: Velaris from A Court of Mist and Fury

Authors: Victoria Aveyard, Leigh Bardugo, Sarah J. Maas, J.K. Rowling and Sabaa Tahir

Characters: Kaz Brekker from Six of Crows, Scorpius Malfoy from Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Tamlin from A Court of Mist and Fury

Questions/Comments:

Ms. Aveyard – What caused Mare to become so weak in Glass Sword?

Kaz – Why are you so terrified of letting people in?

Ms. Maas – Please reassure me that Feyre and Rhysand (my ultimate OTP) will stay together forever.

Scorpius – You are such a little cinnamon roll!

Ms. Tahir – What caused you to push back the release of the next book in the An Ember in the Ashes series until 2018?

Who would you interview? What would you ask? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

  1. This is a wonderful dream conference panel. I’ll admit to not reading much contemporary books when compared to fantasy but Sarah Dessen, Kasie West and Morgan Matson are three amazing authors so I’d love the chance to ask them questions. Also your fantasy panel would be like a dream come true for me; the chance to see Velaris, meet the authors and the characters would be beyond amazing!
    Great post Niraja. 😀
